And it works Online as well as long as the online service is decent Well it works and its a feature in the game. You said " 4 player gameplay wouldn't work". And of course friendly fire had to be turned off or else it'd be unplayable. That looked like a big mess to me anyway and not something I'd want to play. Still, for an official product, this game feels like more of a fan game than SoRR, which IS a fan game. Although I totally understand old fans who don't like it, it's not for everyone, I'm still not a fan of the graphics style (too bright and colourful for SoR, IMO) and the music is hit and miss, but the gameplay is what won me over. I really like SoR4, it's just different gameplay in a mostly good way from the original games. All I can say is that if you do try 3-4 players co-op, unless you're all absolute pros at the game, don't play on anything more than normal difficulty to start with. I've only been able to do 3-4 players over Parsec, and even on there, as long as everyone playing isn't anymore than roughly 100 miles of each other, it plays great! The screen space limitations though do become more apparent when playing with more than 2 players, so 3-4 players does kind of feel like an afterthought, last minute sort of thing, but I'm still glad it's there. Castle Crashers had fully functioning online 4 player co-op and that was a game from 2008. What they've done so far is great, but it's obvious they have tread out of their depth a bit when it comes to functional online multiplayer. Trying to say this in the kindest possible way, but the devs of this game seem new to 'all of this'. It is a bit of a shame, but I understand it.
